A new book on the Future of the Automotive Industry is now available on the Springer website. The book is co-edited by Prof. Dr. Marrón and contains several chapters that are co-authored by members of the Networked Embedded Systems group.
The book explores the automotive industry’s transition from conventional system integration to dynamic ecosystem collaboration. Drawing on research from LocosLab GmbH and the University of Duisburg-Essen as well as industry expertise from Deloitte’s Global Automotive Practice, it investigates how automotive organizations collaborate within innovation and transaction ecosystems. It further analyzes the technical foundations of these ecosystems, covering customer applications, middleware, and backend infrastructures.
