As part of the FAIR project, NES is developing software to capture environmental measurements such as temperature and air pressure using mobile phones. This includes a mobile application for Android as well as a web application. Both applications are freely available and the mobile application can be downloaded from Google Play at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mowesta.android.app. After the initial testing phase, the mobile application for Android has received a major update that includes widgets to display weather forecasts and measurements.
