We are happy to welcome Prof. Rasit Eskicioglu from University Manitoba, Canada visiting NES from May 15th to December 31st 2018. Prof. Eskicioglu will hold two lectures during his stay. “Operating Systems Design and Implementation for IoT Devices”, a course for master students in the summer term 2018, which will provide an in-depth-depth discussion of today’s operating systems for resource constrained hardware as they are used in the context of the Internet of Things (IoT). And “Introduction to IoT” in the winter term 2018 / 19, also a course for master students. This course deals with the new embedded devices, generally called Internet of Things (IoT). Besides the two lectures a collaboration of research will be discussed and planned for the ongoing partnership between the two universities.
