Hughues Smeets has been working as an assistant at the Universitè de Liège and the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium since 2001. He has also worked as a Software Engineer in a spin-off company of the VUB. His research interests include Embedded Systems and routing techniques in Wireless Sensor Networks. He will extend the research domain in the areas of Embedded Systems and Wireless Sensor Networks.
Richard Figura has just finished his diploma at the University Bonn. His diploma thesis deals with "Boreas: Skalierbare Emulation von Sensornetzen durch differenzierte Lookahead-Betrachtung". He will join the group working on the project NOBEL.
